Malin Entertainment is a consulting company with 28 years of experience in creative development, sales, co-production, and market positioning for films, TV series, and literature. Prioritizing female leadership, equality, and diversity, it manages multiple projects annually while advising clients in the entertainment industry. Founded in 1997 as Trilogia Films in São Paulo, it expanded to Rio de Janeiro in 2009 as Tapiz Communications and, in 2014, established itself in Los Angeles under its current name. Serving clients in Brazil, the U.S., Latin America, Angola, France, and Portugal, the company celebrated its journey with a new brand identity in 2022.

After the president of the United States announced a possible 100% tariff on movies "produced in foreign lands", Hollywood woke up to a doomsday feeling. Just at the announcement of such measure, with no clear definition on how it would work, the stock market took a plunge on Netflix, Disney, Paramount Global, Lionsgate and Warner Bros Discovery stocks (more on Variety).
